A New Era

Or so it seems. We have transitioned to living back in the states, and not only that, we are living about 200 meters from a gigantic american flag-painted water tower in a historic neighborhood in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. And better yet, Josh and I took a walk up the hill from our place and found that the top of the hill was famous for the stationing of 4,000 confederate soldiers during the Civil War. Our place was built some 20 years after those soldiers departed.

Our place long ago, and our place more recently. Photos source: Picturesque Bowling Green and Landmark Association

It is good to be here. Thanks to the help of movers
we made the eight-hour move across the Cumberland Gap successfully. The place is beautiful... so much so that I have been moving around cautiously, afraid I might "break" it?

I am going to try my best to keep this interesting, despite the fact I am no longer living in a foreign place. Then again, Kentucky might seem different enough? Thanks for sticking with me.

I am glad to see you're moved in! However Pete and I are wondering why we don't see any Noke shirts in these new images. This concerns me as much as it does Pete since I am the new purveyor of these shirts. I thought your multi dollar endorsement deal has you under contract to wear these shirts while being photographed for this blog. Now for the demand to keep up with the supply and keep our factory in Bangladesh operating I need to market them on your blog since you are not wearing them as per the product placement contract you and Josh signed off on. Any one interested in purchasing Pete's famous Noke t-shirts please contact Eric at eric.brady@roanoke.com The cost is $12.
