New Bici's

Our Sunday was consumed by the search for the perfect- well, close to perfect bicycles. We headed to the street market "El Baratillo," where you can find just about any used item... remote controls, tools, dolls, etc. (Josh has some photos from our previous trip there on his blog).
Both of our bikes are "clasicos"- Josh's has funky brake levers and a double bar on the frame... you see a lot of older Mexican men riding around on them. Mine is an old 3-speed Schwinn with a great big light on the front and rickety fenders. I made quite a racket on our ride home. We are going to have to ride extremely cautiously here, as pedestrians and cyclists are not ever given the right of way. Hence the huge skateboarding helmets purchased today as well.
