Gettin' there...

A little random for this posting, but thought I'd upload a photo showing how big Oso has become (remember him as a puppy from some of my first postings?).

Out of the four or so websites I am currently working on, there is one that is nearing completion. This site is the first (of many, I hope) collaborations by Josh and I. It is still a work in progress, but enough of it is completed to inspire me to post the address. More to come soon.
And.
Josh and I tried foreign food in a foreign (to us) country last night. We discovered an Indian restaurant, and though there were hardly any other diners in the establishment we decided to go for it. An extra challenge was presented in trying to decipher the menu in Spanish intermixed with Indian names and terms. The food was great and was a nice departure from corn products.

Today we visited the tianguis (market near our house) and bought strawberries, mandarins, papaya, beets, beans, cukes, tomatillos, onions, tomatoes, bread, potatoes, chicken sausage, fresh juice, and gorditas (which translate to "Little fat ones"- thick tortillas stuffed with beans or cheese or peppers, etc.) for around $20. We carted the goods back to our house in our two-wheeled cart (Josh usually drives it).

We also put our jalopy bikes through a good test today, biking for over two hours (round trip) in search of Parque Metropolitana- a huge city park where there were many families picnicking. We parked ourselves under a tree for a while and enjoyed watching people enjoying themselves.

A not so nice section of the ride when we got stuck between three highways merging...
